The Tortoise and the EagleDon't make much ado about nothing.

    "Goodness, no, Miss Shirley, ma'am. I wouldn't know who he meant if he did. Of course, when we got married he had to say, `I take thee, Leonora,' and I declare to you, Miss Shirley, ma'am, I've had the most dreadful feeling ever since that it wasn't me he was talking to and I haven't been rightly married at all. And so you're going to be married yourself, Miss Shirley, ma'am? I always thought I'd like to marry a doctor. It would be so handy when the children had measles and croup. Tom is only a bricklayer, but he's real good- tempered. When I said to him, says I, `Tom, can I go to Miss Shirley's wedding? I mean to go anyhow, but I'd like to have your consent,' he just says, `Suit yourself, Charlotta, and you'll suit me.' That's a real pleasant kind of husband to have, Miss Shirley, ma'am."'Father,' she says, 'though in me you behold
Joycity has announced two events that will be available in their popular strategy game Crossfire: Warzone to commemorate the Halloween season. Both will then end on November 2nd.

'Halloween Special Security Engagement’ will see players hunting down Nano-Infected agents that have disguised themselves as Halloween party guests by enhancing their base security. Finally, there will be a Halloween special chat bubble called 'Bat Hunter' up for grabs that can be earned by defeating M.O.W.s and collecting badges which can then be exchanged for this reward.

Then from 28th October, players will also be able to take part in the 'Halloween Boom Boom with Spooky Mansion' event. Through the second of these season events, players will be able to net themselves the exclusive 'Spooky Mansion' base skin.

To obtain this skin, they'll have to collect points by raising Officer levels through the duration of the event.
Rubix is an upcoming puzzler from BusyBytes that's heading for iOS and Android on 19th June as a premium title. The German developer is pitching the game as a remake of the Rubik's cube, which is something we've seen on mobile a few times with other examples including Spingram and Eclidus.

That's not to say they're all the same game, Spingram and Eclidus are very different entities and Rubix brings its own spin to the concept too. It looks to combine elements of match-three puzzling with the colour matching focus of a Rubik's cube.

Each level will feature several cubes on top of square-shaped platforms. The aim of each stage then is to match the colour of the block to the square it's perched upon. However, you can't just change the colour of one cube, it must be done in groups of three and has to be neighbouring blocks, so they can't be diagonally opposite.

The game will start off fairly simple with only two different colours of blocks to worry about, however, as you progress through the game's 1000 plus levels this number will eventually be increased to four. On top of that, there are a further five special cubes to contend with that will increase the difficulty further.

Outside of the levels that have been created for Rubix, players will also be able to create their own using the in-game level editor. Once created, these can be uploaded for other players to complete and likewise, you can search for other user-submitted levels if you're looking for more puzzles to solve.

Rubix is available to pre-order now over on the App Store and Google Play ahead of its release on 19th June. It will be a premium title that costs $1.99. Additionally, if you're interested in trying the game out ahead of release you can play a demo on Rubix's official site.
Enjoy puzzle games? The Montreal-based developer announced earlier today that DBD Mobile topped 1 million downloads in its first 48 hours of launch.

It sees one player-controller killer going up against four unlucky survivors in tense matches of hide-and-seek action. A large part of the appeal here is its extensive roster of playable horror icons, including Michael Myers, Stranger Things' Demogorgon, Freddy Krueger, and Ghostface from the Scream series.
&#;

10tons' Undead Horde has shuffled over to Android following its release for iOS in October. We featured the iOS version in our Games of the Week round-up back when it released because we're big fans of the concept.

If you're unfamiliar with Undead Horde it's a hybrid of an RTS and ARPG where you play as a powerful necromancer who can wade into battle themselves to smite their foes down with devastating attacks.

However, if you prefer to be more hands-off you can simply raise the undead to do your fighting for you. It's similar in concept to Pikmin or Overlord where your troops will loyally follow you about the battlefield and will attack anything you demand them to.

    &#;
Folks itching to get their hands on the upcoming Octopath Traveler received some welcome news at today’s E3 Nintendo Direct—the RPG is getting a second demo later this week. What’s more, progress made during the demo will transfer to the full game when it launches on July 13.

Octopath Traveler is a beautiful turned-based RPG inspired by classic JRPGs like Chrono Trigger. The game stars eight different characters. You’ll play as each to gain unique perspectives as the story progresses. We got to try out the game back in May and were quite impressed. The game is difficult, to be sure, but has the potential to appeal to core JRPG fans. You can read our full preview here.

This is the second demo for Octopath Traveler. After the first, Square Enix took in player feedback to make improvements to the game, so it will be interesting to see how Octopath Traveler has evolved since then. The demo begins on June 14, and you’ll be able to download the game from the Nintendo Switch eShop.
