Update 2 on September 12th at 3:27pm: Nintendo has now scheduled its previously delayed Direct for September 13th at 11pm UK time. That's tomorrow!
You can expect news about Switch and 3DS games across the Direct's 35 minute run-time. And we'll be here covering the whole thing, of course.
Update on September 6th at 11:47am: Nintendo has announced via Twitter that today's Direct has been delayed due to an earthquake which has affected Japan's northernmost island, Hokkaido. Nintendo will provide a new time and date to hold the Direct in the near future.
Original story continues below...Just when you thought Nintendo had an exhaustingly busy couple of weeks around Gamescom, it's just been announced that there's going to be yet another Direct happening tomorrow night. You can tune in at 11 PM BST / 12 AM CEST / 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET right here.

Over the past few weeks we've had a couple of Directs dropped suddenly where a whole host of Switch titles were shown off. Some were slated for a 2019 release and some dropped on the day of the Direct. All in all, we've got a lot to look forward to in the next six months. My wallet is crying.

There's not much to take away from today's announcement in terms of detail, but the presentation will be 35 minutes long - we all know how much Ninty can cram into a smaller timeframe - and will be focussing on Switch and 3DS titles.

It was rumoured that we might hear more about Switch Online and, given its rough September release date, I wouldn't be surprised if we got the full rundown.
He who shares the danger ought to share the prize.

THE OXEN once upon a time sought to destroy the Butchers, who practiced a trade destructive to their race. They assembled on a certain day to carry out their purpose, and sharpened their horns for the contest. But one of them who was exceedingly old (for many a field had he plowed) thus spoke: "These Butchers, it is true, slaughter us, but they do so with skillful hands, and with no unnecessary pain. If we get rid of them, we shall fall into the hands of unskillful operators, and thus suffer a double death: for you may be assured, that though all the Butchers should perish, yet will men never want beef."&#;For some, untucked, descended her sheaved hat,

In the latest Clash Royale update which launched yesterday, Supercell has pulled an about turn and added the ability to mute emotes. Likely to prevent people from getting upset by trolls.

Supercell's original stance was that invoking an emotional reaction from its players was integral to the game, so was resistant to add the option despite a number of the player base requesting it. Here's the original quote:

"The same principle - evoking strong emotions - is at the heart of why we're not planning to implement a mute option. Emotes are loved by some and hated by others - even within the Clash Royale team! We believe these strong emotions are integral to the core of the game."

Also included in the update is a brand new tournament mode in which you have to rack up 12 wins to win the top prize. Get three losses before you hit 12 and you're out though.

This comes in two forms: Classic Challenge, which only costs 10 gems to enter but rewards a top prize of 2000 gold and 100 cards, or Grand Challenge, which costs a whopping 100 gems to enter but ups the reward dramatically. For those brave enough to enter, you could walk away with 22,000 gold and 1100 cards.

It’s been a long time coming, but Daedalic’s rendition of Ken Follet’s popular historical fiction novel The Pillars of the Earth is finally coming to iOS. The point and click adventure arrived on PC and console last year to positive reviews—no small feat when attempting to condense an immense novel into bite sized episodes.

Hey, remember that game show version of Candy Crush we talked about last year? Well, it's still happening, and kids from the 80s/90s might recognise its host.

Late last week it was announced that Mario Lopez had been named as the upcoming CBS show's host. Though, some of you may remember him as A.C. Slater, the guy we all had a crush on, from Saved By the Bell.

Candy Crush is the first ever game show inspired by a popular mobile game, and Lopez says he's pretty stoked to be a part of it. "As a player, I'm excited to step into the real life Candy Crush Arena."

Where Candy Crush Saga is a colourful match-three game, the game show will certainly be more physical as teams of two use their wits and physical ability to compete on huge, interactive game boards featuring next-generation technology.

Apparently teams will use their entire bodies to slide, slip, swing, and swipe to make matches, and dominate the game.

Candy Crush will air July 9th 2017 on CBS, 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT.
