Atone: Heart of the Elder Tree is an adventure game populated with complex visual puzzles and rhythm-based combat. It's not a game that we've written about before, so regular readers will have first seen it when Apple made their Apple Arcade announcement late last month — It's among the titles launching alongside the subscription services later this year.Set in a Norse-mythology inspired world, Atone: Heart of the Elder Tree is visually stunning. As you'll see in the trailer, it has some really lovely, cell-shaded art for the characters, but a kind of elongated pixel art for the world. These, together with the wide-viewpoint that the camera position gives, create a world that looks vast and wild at all times. If you then fill up that world with glowing, mystic runes and angular buildings you end up with that fantastic vibe that forms when a fantasy game has a science-fiction feel to it.What could be more relaxing than a Leaf on the Wind?Yes, that's the title of this physics-based puzzler and, actually, it's not quite as soothing as you may be led to belive.While Leaf on the Wind could be compared to thatgamecompany's Flower, it a little more brutal than that.Your task is to blow a collection of leaves across a hazardous level by swiping to command the wind.Yes, it might be gentle to start off with but it doesn't last all that long. In no time you'll be dodging fire, hitting levers, avoiding crushers, and spinning cogs.&#;

Pierced not his grace, but were all graced by him.The memory of a good deed lives.Konami said it would "pursue mobile games aggressively" in May earlier this year and that seems to have certainly been the case.French website GameBlog reports that its sources revealed Konami has no AAA games in development for PC or consoles, apart from Pro Evolution Soccer.This comes a day after GameBlog found out that Julien Merceron, the worldwide tech director and overseer of the Fox Engine (which Metal Gear Solid V runs on) has left Konami.Not to mention that Konami ceased production on big AAA games like Silent Hills earlier this year. That was just before Metal Gear Solid series director Hideo Kojima also left the company.If these reports are true, and it seems they are, then Konami has essentially been transforming into a mobile game development house. The Room: Old Sins will be released on January 25th 2018! Given that the ending of The Room Three was pretty conclusive, this next game will go back to the beginning, bringing us a new story and new rooms, but with familiar mechanics and design.As the team said on Facebook earlier, the game was supposed to release before the end of 2017. Given there's still some polish and refinement to do, Fireproof decided to push the launch to the new year which is totally understandable.There'll be more information released about The Room: Old Sins over the next couple of months so we'll keep you updated. Until then, look out for January 25th 2018 for the iOS release. Android will be coming shortly after.
