They've received numerous pieces of feedback saying that it takes far too long to grind Legendary events and Sync Orbs so they will be looking at reducing that. Additionally, the release timing for expanded Sync Grids is also set to change too.The second area they're looking to improve is battles and specifically adding more of them that pose a challenge to players. It's very easy at the moment to simply put the game on auto once you've got enough strong Sync Pairs, I'm even doing it now as I write this article.To address this they're looking to have more battles that reward players who have strengthened multiple Sync Pairs and not just Red and Olivia. They also want the different types of Sync Pair to be more impactful rather than the Strike focused setup most people use at the moment.There will also new content based on this idea such as the Legendary Arena. This new gameplay mode is set to launch in the summer, with DeNA recommending you strengthen your water Pokemon in preparation. The legendary Pokemon you face in this arena will change its attack pattern when its HP hits certain lows, meaning you'll need to adjust your strategy too.What is the Battle Villa? Everything you need to know about Pokemon Masters' latest singleplayer modeBeyond that, there will be additional content centred around the various Elite Fours and Champions. These will also feature more challenging battles various rewards on offer for beating them. To commemorate beating them and overcoming other difficult fights they will also introduce a medal system so players can show off their successes.Finally, they discussed wanting to make it more fun to collect and train Sync Pairs whilst explaining what Pokemon Eggs will do. Essentially, they will be a response to players wishing they had more options of partners for the player character beyond Pikachu, Torchic and Solgaleo. When the Eggs feature launches there will be a selection of fan-favourite Pokemon on offer with more being added in future updates.Another new feature will see additional ways to strengthen your teams as a whole instead of just individual Sync Pairs. This will give them a boost based on the formation you use, such as having an all Kanto team or Pokemon of a specific typing.
